He is looking for an actor to play her lover in the film. But according to the script the onscreen lover of Ash has to be a younger to her in age.

Apart from handsome hunk Arjun Rampal, who has been signed to play the male lead character. But there is another male character in the film who has to be a younger actor Ash will fall in love with and have a serious relationship with in the film.

New Delhi: Fed up of congratulatory messages, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has finally spoken out about her rumoured pregnancy saying the news is not true.

“Sick and tired of all the congratulatory msgs and calls, so for the last time `I AM NOT PREGNANT`. All this is so annoying…grrrrrrrrr (sic),” Shilpa posted on micro-blogging site Twitter Thursday.

Last week, the grapevine was abuzz that Shilpa, and her businessman husband, Raj Kundra, are expecting their first child together. They tied the knot in November 2009.

Initially, Shilpa chose to deny the news in a subtle manner.

Apparently, Hrithik will play three characters in the superhero flick – father, son and grandson. However, Hrithik was ready to play the villain had father Rakesh Roshan not intervened as the director wanted Vivek Oberoi to play the baddie.

Talking to a daily, Rakesh said, “It was not possible for Hrithik to play the antagonist. He is already playing three roles. I had Vivek in mind for the part right from the start. He has the right physique and body language for it.”

Mumbai: After ‘Aarakshan’ and ‘Race 2’, Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan will work together again for the latter`s home production tentatively titled ‘Cocktail’.
 
“Deepika and I are doing three movies together this year. It`s not something we planned but it so happened. So now we have to make an effort to look different and act differently in each movie, which is a challenge and interesting in itself,” Saif told reporters on Monday.

To be made under Illuminati Films, the love story will go on floors next week and Homi Adajania will wield the megaphone for the movie.

Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Ladies & Gentleman’ has been picked up by a film corporation for whopping 28 crore. The film is being directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and it is supposed to a comedy.
 
According to trade sources, “Ash and Abhi still hold a curiosity with the audience. ‘Guru’ was a hit, while ‘Raavan’ a flop. However, the audience likes seeing them together. So ‘Ladies & Gentleman’, that will go on the floors in June, is already sold.”

The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin in June.

New Delhi: Filmmaker Prakash Jha`s upcoming movie ‘Aarakshan’ has upset a Dalit group in Kanpur that is angry over Saif Ali Khan being cast as a member of the backward caste in the movie.
 
The Dalit Suraksha Samiti has sent a letter of protest to Jha`s Patna office, asking why he chose Saif to play a Dalit, as it is insulting to the community.

The letter also warns Jha of serious repercussions if he doesn`t explain the reason behind the decision.

“Yes, we have received a letter. My people are looking into it. We have not filed any complaint yet. It does not seem to be a registered organisation,” Jha said in a statement.

New Delhi: She has played sweetheart to many leading men in Bollywood but Bipasha Basu, who stars as a Maratha warrior in Oscar-nominated filmmaker Roland Joffe`s `Singularity`, says the period film is the ultimate romance of her career.

Bipasha romances Hollywood star Josh Hartnett in the period romance, which is set against the backdrop of the first Anglo-Maratha war in the 18th century colonial India.

“It is beautiful and the crux of movie is a love story. I have not done too many of them but I am proud of myself to be a part of the ultimate love story. There is romance in each frame and at the same time my character is very fiery and brave. Josh Hartnett and I have amazing chemisty,” Bipasha told reporters.

Sonam Kapoor was rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri yesterday as she complained of severe exhaustion and was also running a temperature.

The star was in Dubai to promote her forthcoming flick, Thank You. As soon as she landed in Mumbai on Thursday, she collapsed due to fatigue.

She was immediately taken to the hospital where she was diagnosed with extremely high fever. Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor said, “A hectic work schedule landed a fatigued and sleep-deprived Sonam in hospital. Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja has been convicted for raping his domestic help by a Mumbai court. The Sewri court in Mumbai has sentenced the actor to a minimum of seven years in prison.

Shiney broke down in court after the verdict was being read out, he was taken to jail directly from court.

His wife Anupam Ahuja, sat down next to him on the floor consoling him. “My husband is innocent,” she said.

While convicting the accused, Judge P M Chouhan relied mainly upon the FIR in the case, Shiney’s lawyer Srikant Shivade told reporters who were not allowed in the court as the trial was held in-camera.

Apparently, RGV recently met Kangna to work out the modalities of his new project. Talking to a daily about Kangna, an elated Varma said, “I wondered why we haven’t worked together as yet! Kangna very much fits into my vision as a filmmaker. She is intense and emotional on screen. I’ve wanted to work with her, from the time she appeared in ‘Gangster’ and ‘Woh Lamhe’.
