Aamir Khan’s father passes away

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s father Tahir Hussain passed away in Mumbai following a heart attack.
 
Tahir Hussain was a producer, director and writer of Bollywood movies.
 
Tahir had directed his son, Aamir, for the first time in his directorial debut Tum Mere Ho in 1990.
 
Although born in India, Tahir Hussain’s roots were connected to the ethnic Pashtuns of Afghanistan. He was a descendant of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
 
Currently Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao are in the US but are likely to return soon.(ndtv)
