Gemma Arterton took up new film for nude scenes

London: Bond girl Gemma Arterton signed her new movie `The Disappearance of Alice Creed` as she was drawn to the nude scenes in the film. The `Quantum of Solace` star, who plays a young woman kidnapped by two ex-convicts in the movie, took it up as she was attracted by the saucy scenes.

“There was a bit of resistance from some, wondering if it was a good idea for me to do this film. It`s quite violent and there`s nudity in it but that`s why I wanted to do it,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling GQ magazine.

Even though her representatives feared the part was too risque, the British actress said that the film gives her a chance to work with good actors. “It was made in a shed on the Isle of Man.

Film making at its purest: no money and no time. But really good actors and a really good script,” said Arterton.(PTI)
