high-school-240High Court imposes a ban on screening of film ‘High School’ which was released today (Friday). ‘The film consist obscene contents and misguiding the youth. Especially, the romance between a 30 year old woman (Kiran Rathod) and 14 year old school going student is immoral. But, we doesn’t understand how the Censor Board members sanctioned it a certificate,” says women folk who stage dharnas in front of the theatres.

An advocate named Yaswanth has filed a petition in the High Court appealing for a stay on the release of the film. After hearing his arguments, the Court stayed the release of the film and adjourned the case to 9th March.

The film is directed by Narasimha Nandi. The film makers despite receiving several objections, they proceed with their film and finally they released it today. However, the High Court swiftly acts in banning the soft porn film came in disguise of High School.
