Producer C Kalyan arrested in Chennai

Andhra Pradesh’s CID Police officers today (June 29, 2011) arrested producer C Kalyan in Chennai where he was hiding from the police. In case related to financial dealings with the Bhanu, the prime suspect in murder of faction leader Maddelachervu Suri. Two days ago, Kalyan approached court through his lawyer to seek anticipatory bail but he didn’t get and Police have been looking for him to arrest and they found he’s hiding in Chennai city.

Shalimaar Video company also lodged a complaint against C Kalyan for cheating their company relating to the video rights of films Khaleja and Komaram Puli.

C Kalyan produced several films including Chandamama and Balakrishna starrer Parama Veera Chakra.

Recently, another producer Singanamal Ramesh was also arrested by CID police in Chennai. (telugucinema)
