Prabhas wants changes to be done for Rebel . As he tasted big success with Mr.Perfect and won praise from family and youth audiences, he doesn’t want to do an out and out mass masala film at this juncture. Prabhas signed this Rebel in the direction of Raghavendra Lawrence couple of months ago and the film was to start its shoot last month.

Due to strike in the film industry it got delayed and now with the super success of Mr.Perfect , Prabhas is rethinking of doing this movie, sources informed us.

Veteran artiste Nutan Prasad (65) passed away today (March 30) due to prolonged illness, on his way to the Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. Born as Tadivada Varaprasad in Kaikalur on Dec. 12, 1945, Nutan Prasad started his acting career with the play Naa Votu in Guntur and his most stage play was Gaalivaana.  In 1973, he made acting debut in films with Bapu directed Andala Ramudu. Needa Leni Aadadi (1974), and Bapu’s  Muthyala Muggu (1975) made his position secure. His role of Satan in Bapu’s Rajadhiraju (1980) brought him popular and critical appreciation.

Anushka is reportedly very disturbed by the IT raids. The IT sleuths found some gold jewellery and unaccounted wealth and currency at Anushka’s residency in Hyderabad during their raids. Anushka was also questioned for holding about 500 yards of plot at Bhimili beach near Vizag.

Nagarjuna and Ravi Teja’s houses were also raided but Anushka perturbed by this incident. She feels she’s being targeted for no reason.

She is planning to stay in Bangalore (her hometown) for few days and take rest there.

Buzz is that Ileana might be doing Rajnikant’s next big budgeted movie – Rana. She is being roped in to do the role that was originally given to Vidya Balan. After Vidya Balan and Rekha recently walked out of the film, the producers immediately replaced Rekha with Hema Malini. And now they are on discussions with Tollywood’s top queen Ileana to the role vacated by Vidya Balan.

Once remuneration and adjustment of dates are fixed, she might sign on the dotted line. Rajnikant is playing triple roles in the movie directed by K S Ravi Kumar. Deepika Padukone has already been okayed for one of the female lead.

Buzz is that Anushka has bagged the female lead in auteur Manirathnam’s next big-budgeted bilingual movie starring Vijay, Mahesh Babu and Arya. Sources close to Anushka said that she has already given bulk dates to this film which will to go the sets later this year. Mahesh Babu has already signed this multi-starrer. Last summer, Prabhas has a cool hit in the form of Darling. So he feels summer is right time to release his new love story titled Mr.Perfect. Directed by Dasaradh and produced by top producer Dil Raju, Mr.Perfect will have its music launch in the premises of CBIT College in Hyderabad. The audio launch ceremony is to be held on March 19th.

Mr.Perfect has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Kajal and Tapsee are the heroines.

Balakrishna is to set new trend. He has agreed to play a guest role in another hero’s movie. According to our sources, Lakshmi Manchu and Mohan Babu have approached Balakrishna to play this important character in their next production starring Manchu Manoj in the lead role. After hearing the script, Balakrishna said to have given his green signal.

Sources say, Balakrishna is very fond of Manchu Manoj. That was another reason for the actor to say yes to this film titled Uu Kodutara Ulikki Padutara.

Clad in a pink-colored Dharmavaram pattu saree with threadwork in gold and diamonds, bride Sneha Reddy arrived at the venue, while Allu  Arjun`s attire exactly resembled that of his role in Varudu. On this occasion, the bride was guided to conduct the Gouri Vratham.

Magadheera, the all-time highest grocer of Telugu cinema industry, was released in 2009. Two years passed, still news of its Hindi remake is doing rounds. A Mumbai based newspaper recently carried news that Rajamouli would be remaking Magadheera in Hindi with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif as the lead pair. But Rajamouli vehemently denied them.

“I am currently directing Eega and will start another Telugu film with Prabhas later this year. There is no plan as such of remaking Magadheera ,” Rajamouli stated.

Kajal Agarwal’s sister Nisha Agarwal has signed her second film. She will be romancing Nara Rohith for the movie titled Solo, being directed by Parusharam. Nisha Agarwal made debut in Emaindi Ee Vela.

Solo will have its regular shoot from March 12 in Vizag. “Response for the title, Solo, is very good from all quarters and we are beginning the shoot with even more excitement,” said debutant producer Vamsi Krishna.

Director Nandini Reddy is moving on to her next film. She hit the gold with her first film, Ala Modalaindi. Nandini is presently giving final touches to her second script and Bellamkonda Suresh will produce the movie. Buzz is that Siddharth and Samantha are going to be paired up together in this film. When Samantha was approached for this film, she immediately saw the movie on Feb 26th and soon after it, she okayed it. Siddhu also has given signal to the director for her choice of Samantha.

The film might go to the sets in May/June this year.

Superstar Mahesh Babu bags big offer. Mani Ratnam, one of the greatest living directors in India, has signed Mahesh Babu for his next bi-lingual film in Tamil and Telugu.

Mahesh Babu tweeted: “Now for some big news. Met Mani sir this morning, yes the legendary Mani Ratnam. My dream is coming true finally. I will be working in a Mani Ratnam film. One of the happiest days in my life.”

NTR made his fans go in frenzy with his live dance performance at the audio launch ceremony of Shakti. It is well aware that the Bollywood hit film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ is being remade in Telugu as ‘Theenmaar’ with Pawan Kalyan and Trisha in the lead roles directed by Jayant C Paranjee and produced by Ganeshbabu on the banner of Parameswara Arts.

The original film had several lip-to-lip kissing scenes and the director had planned to incorporate such scenes in Telugu as well.

When asked, Trisha also agreed for such scenes in case the situation demands. However, the Power Star refused to do such scenes as such scenes would damage his image, because our Telugu culture won’t accept such romantic scenes. Pawan Kalyan reportedly warned Jayant to avoid such scenes.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun tasted a failure with ‘Varudu’ which was made with a huge budget under the direction of Gunasekhar. Nara Rohith, of ‘ Baanam’ fame, is starting his next film in the direction of Parusaram. The film has been titled – ‘ Solo’ with the tag line of ‘ a solid love story’. It is to be launched on Wednesday.

Solo – A Solid Love Story is being produced by Vamsi Krishna Srinivasa under the SVK Cinema banner. The film has music by Thaman and cinematography by Srikanth

Tall and sexy Anushka has acted with almost all the leading stars of Telugu film industry. Now she is pairing up with Pawan Kalyan, for the first time. She has been roped in to play female lead in the film being directed by veteran director Singeetam Srinivas Rao and produced by Konda Krishnam Raju.
