‘Varudu’ audio released

The audio of Allu Arjun-Gunasekhar starrer Varudu was released at a colorful function held at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. The film made on Universal media banner is produced by DVV Danayya.

The event was graced by Allu Arjun, Gunasehar, SS Rajamouli, D. Suresh Babu, Mani Sharma, DVV Danayya, Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy, Ashok, Venu Madhav, Anitha Chowdary, Syamprasad Reddy, Allu Arvind, B. Gopal, KS Rama Rao, Dil Raju, ML Kumar Chowdary and others.

SS Rajamouli unveiled the audio CD and presented the first number to Allu Arvind. Shyamprasad Reddy released the audio cassette and gave it to Suresh Babu. The audio is getting released into the market through Aditya Music.

Allu Arjun said: “Varudu is hundred percent the movie of the director. He is like soul of the film. Songs are going to play a vital role in the film. I don’t need to speak much about Mani Sharma. Music of Varudu is a magic. I am thankful to cameraman Rajasekhar for unfolding me in a new angle, making me appear handsome. My special thanks to Arya, who played the villain, though he is a hero in Tamil. Everybody is asking me when I am going to become a groom (Varudu). It is for Allu Arvind (hero’s father) to answer.”

Allu Arvind said: “Gunasekhar is head of the family of Varudu team. Mani Sharma is the groom. Every year during the birthday, I ask Bunny (Allu Arjun) as to what gift he wanted. He would say that he wanted a car worth more than Rs one crore. A couple of years ago, he asked me to get Gunasekhar as his director. I hope I had fulfilled the wish with Varudu. Recently, we asked Bunny whether he loved any girl, so that we were prepared to sing his marriage with the girl of his choice. After giving a thought for a while, Bunny said that he did not have such ideas and that he was prepared to marry any girl of our choice. He said that he had decided to get into the arranged marriage. Though he looks modern, he gives a lot of respect to traditions. He amply reflected the same in Varudu.”

Rajamouli said: “The combination of Gunasekhar and Manisharma is terrific. The production values of Danayya are an added advantage. I hope Varudu has all the commercial elements. It is thrilling that the unit is maintaining heavy suspense over the heroine of the film. I am in doubt to say that the film would be a blockbuster.”

Lyricist Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy, who received a grand felicitation on this occasion, said: “Mine is an arranged marriage. That is the reason why I still am happy as I completed 75 years. The true love should begin from the kalyana mandapam.”
