A J (Siddharth), with a haunting past, comes from USA to India to stay for 6 months. He finds joy in mixing with all sorts of people, doing simple things. A photojournalist Vidya (Nitya Menen) falls for his helping nature and proposes her love. Refusing to accept her love, he decides to leave for US but he is forced to take Vidya with him. In a flashback it is revealed that he’s working doctor in America and has a beautiful wife Renuka Narayan (Priya Anand). Why did A J came to India leaving his beautiful wife in the first place and what would happen to Vidya when she came along with AJ to USA?

Dhanraj (Rahul Dev) has a son who lusts after college girls. When his eve teasing turns violent, an ACP (Shyam) hunts him and tries to arrest but he protests and in the fight he is killed. Dhanraj loses his cool and kills Shyam’s infant son (Moksha). But, the cop doesn’t reveal this to anyone. In the meantime, the government appoints Deva as Shyam’ s bodyguard but Veera (Ravi Teja) comes as bodyguard in place of Deva and acts like Deva. Here Aikya (Tapsee) falls in love with him but he doesn’t accept. But why does Veera come to save Shyam’s family? What is the link between the government-appointed bodyguard and Shyam with villain Dhanraj? What’s Veera’s real story?

Subbu (Allari Naresh) is a software engineer. He leads happy life. One day he attends a party and he wakes up in the morning finding himself in bed with a girl named Sanjana (Ritu Barmecha). That girl has three gangster brothers (Srihari, Subbaraju and Samrat) and they fix Subbu’s wedding with their sister Sanjana. Trouble is that Subbu already has a girlfriend (Anita) and he doesn’t want to marry Sanjana. But does he have guts to say no to these gangster brothers?

Venky (Vishnu) is a boxer and leads life happily. He accidentally meets Pooja (Tapsee), sister of a rowdy aspiring to become a politician Narasimha (Prakash Raj). Both Pooja and Venky frequently caught at various dos, which gives wrong assumption that they are lovers. Thinking that his sister’s in love with Venky, Narasinha attacks Venky’s family. Venky retaliates to this. Rest of the drama is all about conflict between Venky and Narasimha and real romance ensuing between Venky and Pooja.

A terrorist group hijacks a star-jet airplane from Chennai.  The plane, with 75 passengers and crew, is brought to Tirupati airport on an emergency landing. A minister, a leading actor, a doctor, a father, a small kid and her family from Pakistan and a father are among its passengers. The terrorists demand their important leader Yosuf Khan be released from the prison. Home secretary Vishwanath (Prakash Raju), National Security adviser and other top bosses also come down to Tirupati to negotiate with the terrorists. National Security Guards officer Ravi (Nagarjuna) is also brought in. But government refuses to take commando operation immediately although Ravi insists on doing. Succumbing to terrorists’ demands, the government releases Yousuf Khan but he gets killed in a road accident when he is being brought. Now the drama starts, how do Ravi and his team accomplish their mission and frees the passengers from hijackers?

A young chap Gautham (Nani) is on his way to Bangalore to stop marriage of his girlfriend who is getting married to another guy. En route, he is kidnapped by John (Ashish Vidhyardhi) and the kidnapper demands him to narrate his story. Gautham tells him that he works with a TV channel and falls in love with a girl (Kriti) but she ditches him for a doctor. On the wedding day of his former girl friend, he meets a drunken girl Nitya (Nitya Menon) who happens to be the former girlfriend of the doctor. Soon friendship blossoms between Nitya and Gautham. As the days pass by, Gautham falls in love with Nitya and when he is about to propose, enters Nitya’s fiancée. More such twists and turns follow till the climax.   In the end, will Gautham and Nitya meet again or separate forever?

Once upon a time, in a mythical land of Angarajya, an evil queen Irendri (Lakshmi Manchu) creates havoc and people take shelter at an ashramam run by Sadhu. And the Sandhu sends a kid called Moksha, with mystical powers, to heal the people suffered by an unknown disease, to the neighboring rajya. A blind swordsman Yodha (Siddhartha) protects the girl. On the other hand, Irendri who lives on taking the drop of blood of Priya (Sruthi Haasan) daily comes to know that if she swallows blood of Moksha, she would live forever as immortal. Priya (Sruthi) a gypsy kind of girl was once Yodha’s lover. Now it is Yodha’s mission to save Mokhsa from Irendri and also get Priya out of Irendri’s clutches.

Rishi works as a police officer in Intelligence Bureau in New Delhi. He is hot-blooded when dealing with anti-social elements and that earns him the name – Mirapakay. He is also romantic at heart when he’s not on duty. His immediate Boss (Nagababu) sends him off to Hyderabad on a mission to join in a college as lecturer and lie down few days there. In Hyderabad, he falls in love with a traditional looking girl Vinamra (Richa) who happens to be student in his college where he teaches Hindi. After couple of songs and some funny scenes later, it is revealed that he should befriend with Vaishali (Deeksha Seth), daughter of mafia don Kittu Bhai (Prakash Raj) and through her they plan to nab the don. How Rishi finishes off the mission is all about the second half of the movie.

Chakradhar (Balakrishna) is popular actor. He does varied roles (Raavana Brahma, Komaram Bheem etc) in reel life that attracts everyone from girls (Sheela plays one of his fans and his love) to military officers. One day, a military officer  (Muralidhar) comes to Chakradhar to narrate a story based on Indian Army. Chakradhar involves in the character of Major Jayasinha, as the narration unfolds. The officer stops narrating after a point and asks him to come to Himachala Pradesh to show the real Jayasinha. Who is this Jayasimha? In what way he’s connected to Chakradhar? That forms the rest of the story.

Two deaths occur in a rich businessman’s (Sharat Babu) house and he approaches a Siddhanti for dosha nivarana. The Siddhanti comes to belief that these strange things happened in the house after the businessman’s elder daughter (Kamalinee) brought in a painting of a ghost called Chandramukhi. The ghost might be possessed in one of the bodies of the businessman’s daughters (Sraddha Das, Richa and Poonam Kaur). To find which girl possesses Chandramukhi, he calls on physiatrist Vijay (Venkatesh) to come down to the house. Upon the doctor’s arrival, he finds that there is connection between the erstwhile King Nagabhairava (Venkatesh) and the aatma of Chandramukhi (Anushka). How the doctor unravels the mystery of Chandramukhi aka Nagavalli forms the rest of the story.

What’s it about!

Love is forever is an absurd thought, believes Ram (Ram Charan), a graffiti artist in Sydney. So he keeps falling with girls and parts ways with them. Quite contrast to his ideology, Jaanu (Genelia) believes in the idea of love and is on the quest for ‘right guy’ to live for life. Ram meets Jaanu, keeps persuading her to fall in love with him. She falls for his charms but when she learns that he can’t love her forever, she gets jolt. Does love fade with the time or it is eternal? They argue on this for rest of the story.

Going by the posters, the audiences were given to a feel that NTR would bring them magic with a class touch, of course for the first time in his career. But, when the audiences come out of the theatres, they are for sure that the movie is a mix masala of beaten elements. The major plus point is that Brindavanam has been shot with decent touches, and hilarious comedy, though most part of it again is outdated, but holding the punch to get it live again for them. Though the movie runs through a soft line, it does not have the stuff that really suits with NTR.

The film starts off with a rishi (Rao Ramesh) telling a group of villagers of an impoverished village that a messiah would come to the village to change their fortunes soon. On the other hand in Hyderabad, Seeta Rama Raju (Mahesh Babu), a low earning cab driver accidentally meets Subashini (Anushka), daughter of a rich businessman (Tanikella). She is sort of iron ‘leg’ – as she brings only bad luck to the Seeta Rama Raju. A shoot-out and an accident prompts Seeta Rama Raju to go to Rajasthan. There he also meets Subasini again. Meanwhile, a group of villains attack both the couple. When Seeta Rama Raju regains consciousness, he is landed in the same curse afflicted village where he is treated as God. What the village problems are and why he is revered as God are answered in the climax.

The Robo mania which caught up Tollywood is not over. It seems that the mania has just begun to unfold to its fullness. Robo, claimed to be the costliest Indian film ever, is certainly a visual splendor on a par with the world cinema. Director Shankar deserves kudos from all sides for all the departments that he had handled to perfection, barring a few hiccups. However, a doubt lingers among the trade circles – how far the futuristic element with a strong dash of human philosophy would get into the heads of the audiences.

Komaram Puli (Pawan Kalyan) is an upright IPS officer and wants to change the police system. He saves Prime Minister of India (Girish Karnad) from an assassination attempt in Bangkok. So PM honours him with award. On the same dais Komaram Puli asks PM to provide a team of honest police officers to change system and instill sense of discipline in the police department. He is provided a team and a special office. Within no time he brings change and people start perceiving the police system in different way. One day, a mother of a missing police officer calls him and asks him to find out the whereabouts of her son and that leads to direct confrontation with a don Al Saleem (Manoj Bajpai). He soon learns that the nexus between police officers and this Al Saleem is deeper. How Komaram Puli brings down the empire of Al Saleem forms rest of the story. In between, a girl posing as lady cop Madhumati (Nikisha Patel) also romances with him.

As a child, Seenu (Ravi Teja) is fascinated with Amitabh Bachchan’s acting and his especially the star’s role of Don. His sole aim is to become Don; so he changes his name to Don Seenu. His stepmother scolds as he turning into a bad guy that prompts him to run away from home. Years later, he comes to Hyderabad and joins in a gang run by Machiraju (Shayaji Shinde) who wants to on another gang leader Narsing (Srihari). Machiraju sends Don Seenu to Germany to woo Narsing’s sister Deepthi (Shriya), to scuttle her marriage alliance with a big businessman’s (Mahesh Manjrekar) son. Rest of the drama is all about Don Seenu impressing Deepthi (Shriya) and revealing his true side in the end.

Ramu (Sunil) loses his father in faction feuds in a village in Rayalaseema, so his mother takes him away from Rayalaseema to save her son. He grows up in Hyderabad and after his mother’s death, he tries hard to meet ends. One day, he receives a notice from the village to claim 5 acres of land, so he boards a train to the village. On board, he meets a beautiful girl Aparna (Saloni) who happens to be daughter of Ramineedu (Nagineedu). Ramineedu has been waiting to kill Ramu for years, as Ramu’s father killed Ramineedu’s brother. Aparna and Ramu become friends and Ramu comes to her house, there he learns that Ramineedu would kill him off he steps out of this house. Rest of drama is all about how Ramu saves his life.

Balu (Manoj), an aspiring singer in Bhadrachalam, comes to Hyderabad to test luck in music field. Sravya (Tapsee) comes down to Hyderabad from USA and tries her luck in the same way too. They fall in love. She stays in Hyderabad at Captain Rao (Mohan Babu) and he tries to separate them. The rest of the film is all about Balu winning singing competition and his love.

What’s it about!

The film is Mani Ratnam’s version of Ramayanam. Here Rama is a Police Officer and his wife is Seetha. A dreaded outlaw is Raavana. His sister is Surpanaka. Veeraiah aka Veera and his brother (Prabhu) live in a jungle near Nallamalla forests. He is feared and loved by local folk. Police are on the hunt to nab him. One day, Veera kidnaps Raagini (Aishwarya Rai), wife of a Superintendent of Police called Deva (Prithviraj). Veera has a personal score to settle with Dev and the cops whom he believes is responsible for his sister Vennala’s (Priyamani) custodial rape and subsequent suicide. During her 14-day hostage, Ragini discovers that her ‘Ram’ is no God and her abductor ‘Raavan’ is not really rakshasha.

A rock star (Manchu Manoj) is on way to Hyderabad from Bangalore to perform a show along with his group. A cable operator (Allu Arjun), who lives in a slum in Hyderabad, aspires to lead rich life by marrying his rich girl friend (Deeksha Seth). A sex worker (Anushka) runs away from her brothel house in Amala Puram to lead her own life in Hyderabad. A poor weaver (Nagayya) in Sirisilla comes to Hyderabad along with his daughter-in-law to sell off her Kidney to clear the debts. Having humiliated by a police cop and losing his twins, a Muslim guy (Manoj Bajpayee) plans to head for Dubai. Due to various circumstances, they all land up in a Hospital. What happens next is rest of the story.
